CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Re-evaluation, improvement & supplementary exam dates announced

After the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 declaration, students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for post-result facilities. The Board has clarified that the entire process will be online and strictly time-bound. As per the official schedule, post-result declaration facilities will begin from April 18, 2026. These services will be available only through online mode, and students must apply within the stipulated deadline. The Board has strictly said that no requests will be accepted after the last date.CBSE has also said that since answer sheets are digitally evaluated, there is no need for traditional totaling-related corrections. For students looking at another opportunity, the supplementary examination will be held on July 15, 2026. This will be a single-day exam covering eligible categories, including students who failed in one subject, those placed in compartment, and even those from previous batches who still have pending attempts.Additionally, students aiming for improvement after passing can also apply under the same framework, making it a key opportunity for score enhancement in one subject.The process for filling up the List of Candidates (LOC) for supplementary exams will begin from June 2, 2026.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: How to apply for rechecking

  • Visit the official CBSE website and open the post-result services section.
  • Log in using required credentials.
  • Apply for a photocopy of the evaluated answer book first (if required as per current process).
  • Carefully check the scanned answer sheet and note any unchecked answers or marking issues.
  • Select the required service such as verification of marks or re-evaluation.
  • Choose the subject and specific question numbers correctly before submitting the request.
  • Pay the applicable CBSE re-evaluation fee through the online payment mode.

  • Visit the official CBSE website and open the latest announcements section.
  • Click on the “Class 12 Compartment Examination 2026” application link.
  • Enter required details like roll number, school number
  • Upload documents (if required) as per CBSE instructions.
  • Pay the examination fee through online payment modes.
  • Download and save the confirmation page and payment receipt.
