With lakhs of students awaiting Central Board of Secondary Education’s Class 12 results, several media reports and social media posts suggest that the result may be declared as soon as today, May 13. Previous years’ result trends also show that CBSE usually declares Class 12 board results after May 10. In 2025 and 2024, the CBSE Class 12 results were announced on May 13. In 2023, the results were declared on May 12. During the pandemic years of 2021 and 2022, the results were delayed till July because of disruptions in the examination process.The trend suggests that a mid-May declaration is normal for CBSE Class 12 results. This means the result may be declared any moment now. However, CBSE has not officially confirmed when it will make the announcement.This year, the CBSE Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 10. After the exams ended, the evaluation process began in phases through the digital marking system, which CBSE introduced to improve consistency and speed up checking.
CBSE Class 12 result 2026 : How to check marks online
Once released, students will be able to check the CBSE Class 12 result 2026 on the official website CBSE Results portal Students can follow these steps to download their marksheet:
- Visit the official website results.cbse.nic.in
- Click on the “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026” link on the homepage
- Enter roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth
- Submit the details
- The result will appear on the screen
- Download and save the scorecard for future use
Students are advised to rely only on official CBSE announcements and avoid rumours related to the result declaration date.
