Tamil Nadu pre-sales near Rs 2 crore for ‘Karuppu’
According to the latest update shared by box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty on Xon the morning of May 12, Karuppu crossed the Rs 1.90 crore mark in Tamil Nadu opening day advance bookings within nearly 36 hours of ticket sales going live.The update also revealed that the film’s all-India real-time advance booking gross stood at approximately Rs 2.34 crore as of 7:49 AM on Tuesday.The Tweet reads, “#Karuppu Tamilnadu Opening day Pre-sales Crossed 1.90 CRORES Mark within just 36 Hours after bookings opened : Still only 1409 shows opened, need to open atleast 2000 shows by today morning itself : If this pathetic show chartings continues, Final Pre-sales will be less than 5 Crores !!
