NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to field against Gujarat Titans in their IPL 2026 clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. When the two captains – SRH’s Cummins and GT’s Shubman Gill – walked out for the toss, Gill was seen wearing a different-coloured jersey, with Gujarat Titans turning out in a special lavender kit for the match.

While Sunrisers Hyderabad are placed third on the points table, Gujarat Titans are one spot above them in second place. No changes,” he said.During the toss, Gill said GT were also looking to bowl first.“(On GT’s superior record over SRH) I mean, we’re going to see about that. You know, I’m not the one about stats and all these things, but we were also looking to bowl first. But this looks like a better wicket than we have had in the past couple of matches on this particular wicket,” Gill said during the toss.“(On the mindset of the team) It’s all about being consistent, being consistent with your thought process, being consistent with your execution as much as possible. And this is the last bit of the end of the tournament and it’s very important to be able to bring your A-game and give it your best.
