‘Peddi’ trailer: Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer's grand trailer launch shifted from Bhopal to Mumbai

Makers of the much-anticipated ‘Peddi’, starring Ram Charan are set to release the trailer of the film this week. Earlier, reports suggested that the team was planning a grand launch event for the film in Bhopal. However, the latest buzz indicates a change in plans; the makers are now reportedly deciding to hold the event in Mumbai instead.

‘Peddi’ trailer launch plans changed

While the trailer launch will now happen in Mumbai, Variety India reports that the makers are still planning a massive event in Bhopal. The team will reportedly shoot a special song there and later hold a huge musical celebration in the city.

Plans for an event in Bhopal

Director Buchi Babu Sana shared that the team wanted to do something very special in Bhopal. He said they felt launching a special song from the movie with a grand musical event would be the best idea.Buchi Babu Sana said, “We wanted to do something on a very big scale in Bhopal. We all strongly felt that launching a Special song from the movie with a grand musical event would be the right way to go. We want to do the biggest musical event in Bhopal.”

Recce done for Bhopal event

He further added, “Hence, the team has finalized launching the next song in Bhopal with the entire team, including the makers of the movie, the lead cast, and the music team. We have already done a preliminary recce of Bhopal, and everyone has fallen in love with the city. We strongly believe that we will reach the heart of every Indian from the heart of India.”

About ‘Peddi’

Speaking about ‘Peddi’, the film is said to be a sports action drama with emotional moments and mass scenes. Ram Charan will reportedly be seen in two different avatars in the movie. One role is said to be a village cricketer, while the other is the powerful Peddi Pehlwan.The movie also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani. The music is composed by AR Rahman. The film is scheduled to release on June 4, 2026, with premiere shows planned on June 3.
