A handwritten note left by a homeless man inside a small community library in North Yorkshire, UK, has gone viral widely on social media. The note was discovered inside a converted red telephone box in the village of Kirk Deighton, where locals had created a free public library for residents and visitors.In the short message, the man thanked the community for making books available to people like him.The 28-word letter explained that he was homeless and often spent his evenings sitting near the village war memorial reading.“Having these books available adds a little brightness to my day,” the note read.The man, who has not been publicly identified, reportedly left the message inside the library as a gesture of gratitude towards villagers who helped maintain the shared space.The letter quickly spread online, drawing emotional reactions from social media users.“Reading for pleasure is a gift and that little note is testimony to the good work you are doing for your local community,” one person wrote.“People don’t often take the trouble to write a note in gratitude.
