Amid ‘Dhurandhar 2’ success, Arjun Rampal visits Mahakaleshwar Temple; seeks blessings during Bhasam Aarti in Ujjain

Arjun Rampal played the antagonist in both ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge.’ Though he had a pivotal role in the first part as well, he shone differently in ‘Dhurandhar 2.’ Thus, despite essaying a negative role, he garnered utmost love and appreciation. Amid the overwhelming response to the movie and box office success, Arjun Rampal made a public appearance in Ujjain, not at a press meet, but at the Mahakaleshwar temple. The actor sought blessings from Baba at the Bhasam Aarti.

The actor paid homage to the almighty in the wee hours of Sunday morning. He participated in the Bhasma Aarti and sat among other devotees in the Nandi Hall. He wore a plain white kurta pyjama and had chandan on his forehead. Immersed in devotion, he looked at peace as he embraced divinity. Pictures and videos from his recent visit are doing the rounds on social media. Netizens have been praising the actor’s simplicity and his gesture of staying grounded amid all the fame and success.The actor also shared pictures of the Shivling and wrote, “Bulava aaya aur hum pahaunche. The bhasma arti, is truly the most beautiful and powerful energies in the world. Blessed. Thank you to the whole team From the temple to make it so special.”

Arjun Rampal expresses gratitude for ‘Dhurandhar 2’ success

When ‘Dhurandhar’ came out in December 2025, it set new milestones, and when ‘Dhurandhar 2’ made it to the big screens in March 2026, it shattered several records. Reflecting on the success of the movie, in a conversation with NDTV, Arjun Rampal said, “I’m still pinching myself; you know what I mean?” “I think for the whole team it has been phenomenal. Way, way, way beyond anybody’s wildest dreams or imagination. It just throws you into a sense of gratitude,” he added.

Will there be ‘Dhurandhar 3’?

While the first two movies are still making headlines, the new buzz that caught fire is around the threequel. According to the statement made by the makers, ‘Dhurandhar 3’ is in the cards. Co-producer of the movie, Jyoti Deshpande, told Bollywood Hungama, “We’re not done with Dhurandhar yet. We’ll hopefully have a surprise for the audience later this year. There’s something up our sleeves.”With this, a new wave of anticipation has filled the hearts of the audience.
