Himachal Pradesh Board Class 10 Result: HPBOSE 10th Matric Result, Marks & Division – TOI

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, is set to declare the Class 10 Annual Examination Result 2026 today, May 10, at 11:00 AM. The official announcement will take place at the Education Board Campus, Dharamshala, in the presence of Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.

Students who appeared for the matric examinations will be able to access their results online through the official HPBOSE website, hpbose.org, using their roll numbers. The online marksheet will contain subject-wise marks, total score, division, and qualifying status. Students should note that the digital marksheet will remain provisional until original certificates are distributed through respective schools.

For students facing issues while accessing the official website due to heavy traffic, alternative result platforms may also provide access to scorecards after activation of the result link.

HPBOSE 10th Result 2026: Steps To Check On Official Website

Once declared, students will be able to check their HPBOSE Class 10 Result 2026 by following these steps:

• Visit the official HPBOSE website at hpbose.org.

• Click on the “HPBOSE Class 10 Result 2026” link available on the homepage.

• Enter the examination roll number in the login window.

• Click on the “Submit” button.

• The provisional marksheet will appear on the screen.

• Download and print the result for future reference.

Students may also access their digital documents through platforms such as DigiLocker and the UMANG App after the result link becomes active.

HPBOSE 10th Result: Past Years’ Statistics

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education recorded an overall pass percentage of 79.8% in the Class 10 Result 2025. A total of 95,495 regular students appeared for the examination, out of which 75,862 successfully passed. Meanwhile, 5,563 students were placed in the supplementary category. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 82.08%, compared to 77.6% among boys.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage stood at 74.61%, with 91,130 students appearing for the examination. The academic performance improved significantly in 2023, when the pass percentage reached 89.7%, while 2022 recorded a strong performance of 87.5%.

The highest pass percentage in recent years was recorded in 2021, when an exceptional 99.7% of the 1,31,902 students successfully cleared the examination.

Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to pass the HPBOSE Class 10 examination.

HPBOSE 10th Result 2026: Re-evaluation And Supplementary Exams

Students who are not satisfied with their marks will be able to apply for re-evaluation or rechecking after the result declaration. HPBOSE is expected to release detailed application guidelines, important dates, and fee information on the official website after the announcement.

Students placed in the supplementary category will also be eligible to appear for compartment examinations, which are likely to be conducted later this year.
