Even as adults, many of us would panic if we suddenly got lost. But a 5-year-old girl from Indonesia amused the internet with her chill and cheerful reaction while at the police station. The little girl was dancing and giving a cheeky salute on the camera as police officers filmed a video to reach her parents.
How did the little girl reach the police station
According to an Indonesian news outlet, local residents spotted 5-year-old Azkiya Nabila Limbong walking on the highway on 30 April. Seeing she was alone, they approached the child and handed her over to the police.Later the officers issued a video stating they had found Azkiya and were looking for her parents, Marhaban and Rizky. The clip quickly caught netizens’ attention and went viral. In the clip little Azkiya was seen smiling, dancing, and even giving a cute salute.
Azkiya’s parents reached the police station
The Facebook video caught Azkiya’s aunt’s attention, who then informed her mother. The mother immediately went to the police station to pick up her daughter. Police officers again issued a video, and once again Azkiya was seen chilling and making cute gestures. This time she stood next to her mother.
The reason Azkiya was wandering alone makes the incident even funnier
Azkiya’s mother, Rizky, explained that her daughter left because she couldn’t wait to go to the market. In the video, the mother said that she had promised her daughter, Azkiya, they would go to the market after school. And since the little girl couldn’t wait, she went to the market alone and wandered towards the main road. The mother said the incident has served as a lesson for her and her husband to pay extra attention to their children.
