VITEEE result 2026 to be released today at vit.ac.in: Check steps to download scores

VITEEE result 2026: The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 result is going to be released today, May 8, at 7 pm. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination will be able to check and download their scorecards from the official website at viteee.vit.ac.in.The VITEEE 2026 examination was conducted from April 28 to May 3 for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered across VIT campuses, according to the official website.Candidates can access their results by logging in with their registered email ID, application number, and password.

VITEEE result 2026: Steps to download scorecards

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check their VITEEE 2026 results online:

  • Firstly, visit the official website at viteee.vit.ac.in
  • Then click on the VITEEE 2026 result link
  • Then you have to enter the application number, password, and captcha code
  • Submit the details
  • The result will appear on the screen
  • Download and save the scorecard for future reference

VITEEE 2026 counselling details

After the declaration of results, VIT will begin the counselling registration process and release the detailed counselling schedule. Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in online counselling based on their ranks.During counselling, candidates will be allowed to select their preferred campus, programme, and fee category. Seat allotment will depend on the candidate’s rank, preferences submitted during counselling, and seat availability.Candidates securing ranks up to one lakh will be eligible to participate in counselling for all four campuses — VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP, and VIT Bhopal. Those with ranks above one lakh can participate in counselling only for VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal campuses.The institute has also stated that provisional admission offered during counselling will be confirmed only after verification of eligibility documents and fulfilment of all admission requirements.
