Industry circles believe a birthday release could turn into a grand celebration for Vijay fans across Tamil Nadu and overseas markets. Even though some special film updates have arrived during Vijay’s birthday earlier, there have been no new releases on the special day. But Vijay’s last film is turning out to be the first release on the occasion of the actor’s birthday, and it’s going to be a memorable one too.

Though the movie was completed months ago, its release faced several delays. Vijay fans even believed political reasons affected the film’s release. Adding to the problems, an HD version of the movie leaked online in April, shocking the team and the industry. Police later arrested nine people in connection with the leak, and investigations are still ongoing.
