A recent video of Rihanna and Tyla’s interaction had gone viral, with many commenting about how Rihanna had ignored the fellow singer. In a recent post, Tyla clarified what happened, and further shared that her meeting with Rihanna was ‘awkward.’

Taking to a popular video streaming platform, Tyla posted a quick video from her account about her interactions with Rihanna. The ‘Eater’ singer clarified that she and the famed singer had met before; however, their meeting at the Met Gala was quite brief because she had been busy with something.
She posted the video hours after an alleged hallway clip of the two went viral from the Met Gala. Many netizens pointed out that it seemed that the ‘Diamonds’ singer seemed to have ignored Tyla. The video, which went viral online, garnered more than 5 million views as of right now.Tyla then explained and said in the video that “Everyone knows I love RiRI.” Further adding that when she greeted her, RiRi allegedly replied by saying “‘Hey, my baby daddy is calling me’”, after which she quickly left the scene. She also added that “I felt awkward.”

Shared by TMZ soon after the Met Gala, the video showed Rihanna with her longtime beau, A$AP Rocky, as the two sat far apart in their van with frowns on their faces. The video garnered a lot of attention online, with many people sharing their mixed views on what may be going down with the couple.
