RB Choudary car accident: Detailed TIMELINE of the fatal crash in Rajasthan that claimed the producer’s life

The veteran film producer R B Choudary, popularly known for his production company Super Good Films, was unfortunately taken from us by death on May 5, 2026, after a grave road accident in Rajasthan. This tragic event has left everyone stunned within the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries. He was travelling after attending a family wedding when the accident took place, turning a normal journey into a heartbreaking tragedy.

How the RB Choudary’s car accident happened

According to One India, RB Choudary had attended a close relative’s wedding in Lilamba village in Rajasthan. After the event, he was returning in a car along with his son-in-law and driver Gautam. At about 3 PM, when the car was proceeding on the national highway towards the village of Joontha in the Beawar region, a herd of cows suddenly appeared on the road. The driver attempted to avoid the collision with these cows by making an abrupt turn in his car, but he ended up crashing into the roadside barrier.

Impact of RB Choudary’s car accident

The extent of damage caused by this accident was considerable, and the entire front section of the car was damaged. RB Choudary suffered major injuries and died on the spot due to the severity of the impact. His son-in-law and driver, Gautam, were seriously injured in the accident. They were immediately rescued and shifted to a hospital in Jodhpur for urgent treatment. Police teams from the local station reached the site and sent his body for post-mortem examination.

Final journey to Chennai and industry mourning

His mortal remains are expected to be flown to Chennai on May 6, where final rites will be performed with full respect from the film industry. Many celebrities like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi, and many more were deeply saddened by his unexpected demise. They have mentioned that he was a generous producer who had built many careers for newcomers.RB Choudary’s sons, Jiiva and Jithan Ramesh, along with his family members, are receiving condolences from across the film industry. Several emotional clips of actor Jiiva shedding tears after learning about his demise have become viral, breaking hearts all around the world. The loss of a person with such immense talent marks the beginning of a new era in Indian cinema.
