'Bhooth Bangla' box office collection Day 17: Akshay Kumar's film is heading towards Rs 230 crore worldwide mark

Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ is currently in its third week at the theatres. The movie has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide at the box office and is slowly marching towards a new milestone. While the new releases have affected the box office score of the horror comedy, it has still managed to add a substantial amount to the overall collection on the third Sunday, indicating that it continues to attract audiences despite the competition.

The Priyadarshan directorial had minted Rs 84.40 crore and 43.75 crore in its first two weeks, respectively, in cinemas. Worldwide collection of ‘Bhooth Bangla’

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ had collected Rs 100 crore globally in just four days of its release. The film ended the ‘Dhurandhar 2’ fever at the theatres.Now, on Day 17, the movie raked in Rs 1.25 crore in the overseas market, pushing the total overseas gross collection to Rs 56.25 crore. With that, the total worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 225.52 crore.

Box office competition

The Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar collaboration project is facing competition from new releases like ‘Raja Shivaji’, ‘Ek Din’, and ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’. The movie also clashed with the Michael Jackson biopic titled ‘Michael’.
