Rihanna was spotted on a night out in Paris on April 30. The moment was capture-worthy because she wore her iconic R20 ‘Rhenna’ hoodie, which holds significance for the singer and her identity. She paired the hoodie with a New York Yankees fitted cap, a pair of black sunglasses, black fitted pants, and an embellished handbag.
Significance of Rihanna’s hoodie
What makes her hoodie is iconic because it has ‘Rhenna’ drawn on it, which is a stick figure drawing of a girl that was part of the ‘Diamonds’ singer’s life. It refers to her old social media profile picture, which she had on her account for more than a decade. The hoodie is part of an older campaign that celebrated her 20 years in the music industry. It also had the words “20 years with you” written on it as well.In an old YouTube video on her channel from 2025, Rihanna further explained the significance of the hoodie and its collection. She cited during the video that “20 years ago, i left my country, my culture, my food, and family to embark on a journey that started with the release of my very first body of music! So many of you were a part of my life and career since the very beginning, and some of you have joined the adventure along the way,” she continued. “I’m forever grateful to all of you.
