For India to be strong, Indians must kindly adjust

For the first time since 1945, the world seems caught up in whirlpools of hot geopolitical contests. Instead of the neat cleavage (between Allies and Axis powers) in 1945, there are echoes of 1914, when disparate political disputes got triggered when Archduke Franz Ferdinand fell to Gavrilo Princip’s bullets at Sarajevo.

On one hand, Russia and Europe are circling each other in a replay of historical mistrust and hostility, especially over Ukraine. On the other, the Iran war has completed the circle of unintended consequences (of US actions), that started with Gulf War 2.
