CUET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency has released the advance examination city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate courses in 2026. The notification, issued on April 29, confirms that candidates can now access details of their allotted examination city through the official portal using their login credentials.The CUET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted between May 11 and May 31 in computer-based test mode across multiple centres in India and abroad. The subject and language-wise schedule has been specified in the city intimation slip made available to candidates.City slip released ahead of admit card issuanceThe agency clarified that the advance city intimation slip is not the admit card. It has been issued to inform candidates about the location of their examination centre in advance, enabling travel and logistical planning. The admit cards for CUET UG 2026 will be released separately at a later stage.Candidates have been instructed to strictly appear for the examination on the date and shift allotted to them. The agency has stated that no requests for changes in examination date or shift will be entertained under any circumstances.Instructions for identity verification at centresThe notice also highlights specific requirements for candidates whose application photographs did not match Aadhaar records or those who registered using alternative identity documents. Such candidates must carry a certificate in original, duly signed or attested by a Principal, Head Master, or a Class I Gazetted Officer including Tehsildar, Revenue Officer, SDM, DM, or an authorised official from the Indian Embassy for NRI candidates.This document will be required for physical verification at the examination centre on the day of the test. The format for the certificate had been notified earlier by the agency.Helpline and updates for candidatesCandidates facing issues in downloading or accessing the city intimation slip can contact the NTA helpline at 011-40759000 or write to the official email address provided by the agency.The NTA has advised all applicants to regularly visit its official websites for the latest updates and announcements related to CUET UG 2026.
