Speaking about her upcoming project Lahore 1947, she said, “I always wanted to do a period film, that’s why I signed Lahore 1947, and of course, it’s with my one of my favourite directors, Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny (Sunny Deol) is always a pleasure to work with.” She added that the film revolves around a love story set against the backdrop of the Partition era.Talking about another project, Vibe, the actor shared, “Vibe is just a really funny light-hearted film & was great to do after the intensity of Lahore 1947.” She also revealed that both films are slated for release later this year.Preity also spoke fondly about Shreyas Iyer when a fan asked about her experience working with him at Punjab Kings. Praising his leadership, she said, “He is an inspiring & strategic leader that leads by example. Intelligent, calm, inclusive & accessible to the whole team.
