The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has announced that the application window for PSSSB Punjab Group D Recruitment 2025 closes today. The recruitment drive covers 331 Group D vacancies across multiple Punjab government departments under Advertisement No. 08/2025.The online application process began after the notification release and remains open until 5 PM today. Candidates who applied earlier under Advertisement 10/2024 may submit a fresh form without paying the application fee, provided they complete the process under the current advertisement.Key dates and application scheduleThe official notification was released on November 17, 2025, and online applications started on November 21, 2025. The last date to submit the application form is January 26, 2026, while the fee payment window remains open until January 29, 2026. The written examination is scheduled for March 01, 2026.Vacancy details and eligibility criteriaThe recruitment includes posts such as Sewadar, Chowkidar, Sweeper-cum-Chowkidar, Safai Sewak, Sweeper-cum-Mali, Fisherman, Mali-cum-Chowkidar, Boatman and Laboratory Attendant. Of the total vacancies, 150 posts are for Sewadar in General Administration, followed by 68 Fisherman posts in the Fisheries Department. Applicants must have passed Class 10 with Punjabi as a subject. The age limit is 18 to 37 years, calculated as on January 01, 2025, with relaxations applicable as per Punjab government rules.

Ex-Servicemen and their dependents must pay Rs 200, and Persons with Disabilities are required to pay Rs 500. The board will conduct an objective-type written examination, followed by counselling, document verification and a medical examination.
