The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education has officially released the UK Board Class 10th result (High School) and Class 12th result 2026 on the official website, ubse.uk.gov.in. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at an impressive 92.10%, reflecting a steady improvement compared to the previous year. Out of 1,12,266 registered students, 1,08,983 appeared for the examination, and 1,00,373 successfully cleared it. According to the official statistics, Akshat Gopal has secured the first rank by achieving 98.20%. Ishant Kothari and Bhumika have got the second rank in the 10th Class results 2026. Yogesh Joshi secured the third position with 97.80% (489/500 marks), further highlighting the competitive merit list this year.

Pass percentage sees year-on-year rise

The overall pass percentage for 2026 stands at 92.10%, showing an increase of 1.33 percentage points compared to 2025. This improvement highlights a steady upward trend in academic performance across Uttarakhand.

Girls outperform boys

Girls once again outshone boys in the examination. The pass percentage for girls reached 96.07%, while boys recorded 88.03%, indicating a significant performance gap in favour of female students.

Institutional candidates perform better

The results also underline disparities in categories. Institutional candidates recorded a pass percentage of 92.47%, whereas individual candidates stood at 65.05%, suggesting the advantage of structured academic environments.

Merit list and division-wise results

A total of 7,935 students (7.28%) secured honours, scoring above 75%. In terms of divisions:

  • 30,734 students (28.20%) passed in first division
  • 46,708 students (42.86%) secured second division
  • 14,986 students (13.75%) passed in third division

Additionally, 207 students featured in the state merit list (Top 25%), reflecting high academic excellence.

District performance and additional insights

At the district level, Bageshwar recorded the highest pass percentage at 96.98%, emerging as the top-performing region in 2026.The board also shared data on improvement examinations, noting that in the second improvement exam of 2024, 382 students had registered, with a pass percentage of 68.67%.
