Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch gets emotional while expressing grief over unfortunate Minnesota shooting incident

Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch broke his silence on the recent Minneapolis fatal shooting incident. He got emotional during the pre-game media appearance. The coach was asked for his opinion, during which he condemned the entire incident. Chris expressed grief and extended his love and prayers to the victim’s family on behalf of the entire team. This was moments before the Timberwolves faced the Golden State Warriors. The game was postponed due to the fatal incident.In the last two weeks, citizens of Minneapolis faced two back-to-back tragedies. Two of the residents were shot and killed by the federal agents, creating a protest across the city. Several noted individuals, including athletes and members of the NBA community, raised their voices in support of the protest. They demanded answers and actions from the government.

Chris Finch extends thoughts and prayers for Alex Pretti’s family

Chris Finch was visibly sad and was at a loss for words while trying to share his opinion on the unfortunate Minneapolis incident. The Minnesota Timberwolves coach, during the pre-game appearance, broke his silence on the issue. He stated, “For the second time in less than three weeks, we’ve lost another beloved member of our community in the most unimaginable way. As an organization, we are heartbroken for what we are having to witness and endure and watch.”The coach further added, “We just want to extend our thoughts, prayers and concern for Mr. Pretti, family, all the loved ones and everyone involved in such an unconscionable situation in a community that we really love, full of people who are, by nature, peaceful and prideful. We just stand in support of our great community here.” Chris thanked the NBA commissioner and members of the Golden State Warriors for understanding and postponing the game. He ended his statement with, “Playing basketball just didn’t feel like the right thing to do. Hopefully, we can play today, move forward. We feel like we’ve got a lot of work to do.”

Minnesota Timberwolves face their fifth straight loss

The Minnesota Timberwolves are dipping within the league standings. They faced their fifth loss in a row against the Golden State Warriors. Their previous loss came against the Chicago Bulls, the Utah Jazz, the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Rockets. Even though Anthony Edwards was the highest scorer of the game, racking up 32 points, it was the combined efforts from the Warriors’ athletes that enabled the latter’s win. The final score of the game was 85-111, favoring the Warriors.
