Yamaha Fascino, RayZR recalled in India: Is your scooter affected?

Yamaha Motor India has announced a voluntary recall for its 125 cc hybrid scooter range in India, covering the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid. The recall has been issued due to a potential issue related to the front brake system.According to the company, scooters manufactured between May 2, 2024, and September 3, 2025, fall under this recall campaign. Yamaha has identified that the front brake caliper in some scooters may show limited braking performance in specific operating situations, which could compromise braking effectiveness.Yamaha has stated that customer safety remains its top priority and has urged owners of affected scooters to visit their nearest authorised Yamaha dealership. The company will replace the affected part free of cost as part of this recall. The replacement procedure will be carried out only at authorised Yamaha service centres.
