Indian student behind fake 'Emily Hart' that scammed MAGA wants to study in US

Indian scammer who created fake ‘Emily Hart’ to fool MAGA people says he wants to study in the US.

The Indian medical student who scammed ‘super dumb’ MAGA men by an AI-generated hot girl ‘Emily Hart’ posting conservative ideas said he never felt he was scamming as he was gathering fund for his medical studies. He said he tried to sell study notes to other medical students, made YouTube shorts and even started posting generic photos of beautiful woman. But nothing worked. Gemini told him that ‘hot girl’ is too generic as million others are doing the same thing. The 22-year-old student told WIRED that he presented Gemini with some other options and Gemini selected MAGA niche as the chat code. Gemini told the man that the conservative audience, especially older men in the US, have higher disposable income.Gemini defended and a spokesperson told WIRED that Gemini does not suggest a particular option unless it is prompted. “Gemini is designed not to give a particular opinion unless you tell it to. Instead, it is designed to offer neutral responses that don’t favor any political ideology or viewpoint,” the representative said.Emily Hart was created in January as a 20-year-old, NYC-based nurse and the Indian student started earning a few thousand dollars a month, something that he said even professionals do not earn from their full-time jobs in India. “I haven’t seen any easier way to make money online. The MAGA crowd is made up of super dumb people. And they fall for it,” the man said. The money actually came from Fansly where Emily used to chat with men and sent them AI-generated bikini pics. The Instagram account was banned because of suspicious activity within a month, though the Facebook account is still alive. The man said he would have stopped posting anyway even if his account was not banned as he needed to shift to focus on his studies.

Can this Indian scammer study in the US now?

The Indian scammer told WIRED that he wants to study in the US. This is the reason the man did not reveal his identity. EJ Dickson, the writer of the story, gave an American alias to the Indian man and referred to him as ‘Sam’. If the cover is blown up, it is unlikely that he would be allowed a visa.
