The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has extended the deadline for payment and confirmation of examination fees for the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) 2026. The last date for students to complete the process is till April 23, 2026, according to a press release issued on April 20.The extension is meant for both first and second year Intermediate students of The Telangana Board. The new deadline applies to candidates who did not clear one or more subjects in the regular examination and are looking forward to appearing for the supplementary exams under the General and Vocational streams.Supplementary examinations allow students to clear the subjects they failed in, within the same academic year. Every year, the Board conducts this cycle shortly after the declaration of main results. In 2025, the supplementary exams were scheduled within a few weeks of the results, followed by a faster evaluation process so that marks could be released in time for undergraduate admissions.Notably, students are permitted to appear only in the subjects they have not cleared. Candidates seeking improvement in marks can also apply, However, it is subject to the Board’s guidelines. In such cases, the higher of the two scores—main examination or supplementary—is accepted for the final marksheet. Internal assessment marks and attendance records, however, remain unchanged and are not reassessed.Meanwhile, the Board has issued the tentative IPASE 2026 examination schedule. Theory examinations are proposed from May 13 to May 21, with first-year papers in the morning session (9:00 am to 12:00 noon) and second-year papers in the afternoon session (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).
