On Saturday night at Coachella, that lifelong admiration turned into one of the festival’s most talked-about moments. The 24-year-old singer was brought on stage by Bieber during his Weekend 2 headline set to be his ‘One Less Lonely Girl’, and her reaction said everything.Billie could be seen falling to the stage multiple times in disbelief before Bieber came down to help her up and escort her to the stool to console her. The following day, she shared a selfie on her Instagram story with the words: “can’t stop crying (sic).”

Billie’s sister-in-law, Claudia Sulewski, shared a video from the night showing Hailey Bieber pushing and urging Billie to go on stage during the song. Reportedly, Hailey was originally supposed to be the ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ herself, but she gave the moment to Billie instead.

The following day, Billie’s mother shared her own photos and videos on Instagram alongside a heartfelt message. “One of the most touching moments ever. It sounds crazy, but we watch our children develop these deep deep connections to artists who move them and usually there’s nothing in our power to do. But we buy them records and maybe buy them a ticket to a concert, or a movie of a concert in our case because we couldn’t afford to see an actual concert. Watching this crazy unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible. I’m so grateful to Justin Bieber for the kindness he has shown Billie and to our whole family and to Hailey who makes so many things wonderful and possible (sic),” she wrote.Hailey Baldwin responded in the comments section, writing “so special” and adding a red heart. What started as Hailey Bieber’s moment on stage ultimately became one of the most memorable surprises of Coachella 2026.
