CRPF Constable recruitment 2026: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released the official notification for Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) recruitment 2026. A total of 9,195 vacancies have been announced for male and female candidates across India.The online application process will begin tomorrow, April 20, 2026, and candidates can apply till May 19, 2026 through the official CRPF recruitment website.

CRPF Constable recruitment 2026: Vacancy details

According to the notification:

  • Male candidates: 9,096 posts
  • Female candidates: 79 posts
  • Pioneer wing: 20 additional posts (all-India basis)

The vacancies are available for multiple trades, including Driver, Cook, Carpenter, Tailor, Barber, Washerman, Safai Karamchari, Other technical and tradesmen posts.

CRPF Constable recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria

  • Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Age limit:
  1. Driver post: 21 to 27 years
  2. Other posts: 18 to 23 years
  3. Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.
  • Educational qualification:
  • Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Some posts may require technical qualifications or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificates and relevant work experience.

CRPF Constable recruitment 2026: Selection process

The selection process will include the following stages:

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Trade/Skill Test
  • Document Verification (DV)
  • Medical Examination

Final selection will be based mainly on Computer Based Test (CBT) performance, subject to qualifying other stages.
