Arjun Singh Shekhawat joins the cast of Pati Anadi

Actor Arjun Singh Shekhawat who was last seen in Kumkum Bhagya has now joined the cast of TV show Pati AnadiTalking about his role, he said, “I play Nishant in Pati Anadi. The show is set against a Mathura backdrop, and Nishant is a typical Mathura boy — bindass, energetic, and full of life. He’s someone who enjoys his own space, is carefree, and has a mast-maula personality.”He continued, “What makes him interesting is that he’s not conventionally positive or negative — he exists somewhere in between. Unlike the usual elder brother trope where the elder one is always supportive, Nishant actually pulls his younger brother’s leg, teases him, and enjoys those moments.”“That dynamic brings a fresh and entertaining layer to the story, and Nishant stands out because of his individuality and unpredictability,” he added. He stated that the role is something new compared to other roles he has played. He shared, “This role is very different for multiple reasons. Firstly, the Mathura backdrop itself brings a distinct flavor — the language, dialect, body language, lifestyle, and overall tonality automatically shift when you step into that world.”He continued, “On top of that, Nishant as a character adds another layer. He’s slightly atrangi, unpredictable, and sits in that grey space — not fully positive, not negative. It’s a kind of “hanging character” that audiences don’t get to see very often. There’s fun, there’s mischief, and there’s a certain greyness, but without any harsh negativity. He’s a jolly, entertaining character who keeps the energy alive on screen.““Also, from the beginning of my acting journey, my approach has always been to completely transform into the character—to the extent that my own personality doesn’t reflect on screen. With Nishant as well, I’ve tried to build a complete personality that feels authentic to the character and not like me playing it,” he concluded.Arjun is known for featuring in shows like Pandya Store, Choti Sarrdaarni, Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story, Nimki Vidhayak, Nimki Mukhiya among others.
