VinFast India has just launched the new VinFast VF MPV 7 electric in the Indian market. The bookings for the EV MPV have already begun. Interested customers can book the EV MPV online or by visiting their nearest dealership, and the deliveries are expected to begin soon. The new VF MPV 7 comes with benefits including three years of free maintenance, free charging until March 31, 2029, a seven-year vehicle warranty, a 10-year battery warranty, up to 75% assured buyback, seven years of free roadside assistance and additional ICE-to-EV transition support.
The VinFast VF MPV 7 will compete with other three-row models such as the Kia Carens Clavis EV, BYD eMax7 and Mahindra XEV 9S. Prices range from Rs 19.02 lakh to Rs 26.69 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).
VinFast VF MPV 7 vs Kia Clavis EV: Battery, range The VinFast VF MPV 7 is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor that puts out 201 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. It has a claimed range of 517 km on a full charge and can sprint from 0-100 kph in 10 seconds. The EV gets 11 kW AC charging and 80 kW DC fast charging. Using the DC fast charger, the VF MPV 7’s battery can be charged from 10 to 70 per cent in around 30 minutes.The Kia Clavis EV is offered with two battery pack options – a 42 kWh unit with a claimed range of 404 km and a larger 51.4 kWh pack offering up to 490 km. The EV supports 100 kW DC fast charging and Kia also provides two AC charger options – 7.4kW and 11kW. Both battery packs come paired with a single front-axle electric motor producing 171 hp (bigger battery), 135 hp (smaller battery), enabling a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 8.4 seconds.

The Vinfast VF MPV 7 measures 4790 mm in length, 1872 mm in width, 1734 mm in height, a wheelbase of 2840 mm, ground clearance of 185 mm, boot space of 126 litres and gets 19-inch wheels.
