It has been designed for situations such as travel, treks, or unfamiliar taps. It arose from the basic crisis: how can one access safe drinking water when away from home and unable to afford daily packaged water purchases?
What makes it special
The best thing about this purifier is that it fits in your office or travel bag and works without electricity. It is compact and all you need to do is, attach it directly to a tap. The owner claims that this 3,000-liter capacity water purifier kills 99% of bacteria and viruses, removes chlorine, heavy metals and other impurities, and provides clean, pH-balanced water while retaining essential minerals. It is made with stainless steel and comes with a replaceable cartridge and combines selective tracing, nano silver, KDF, and MHD technology to filter impurities and condition even hard water effectively. Priced at Rs 4,000, it is a one-time investment that aims to reduce plastic wastage and prioritize access to safe drinking water.
How does it help environment
With this portable water purifier, Rohit aims to reduce the consumption of packaged water bottles which clog rivers, oceans, and landfills, and release toxic fumes when burnt. It has been reported that one-litre plastic water bottle can contain up to 240,000 microplastic particles, and traces of it have been found in human blood, lungs, gut and even reproductive tissues. Rohit wishes that people should say no to plastic water bottles and still consume safe drinking water devoid of any plastic and chemicals.
