CBSE results for Class 10 expected soon: How to create DigiLocker account to check results, download marksheet and certificates

It appears that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may soon announce the class 10th result for the year 2026. While CBSE has not yet issued any official date for the release of the class 10 results, but they are expected to come soon as DigiLocker has issued a notification which reads “class X results coming soon”. Students will soon be able to access their class 10th marks via DigiLocker. This year, CBSE has emphasised on the importance of use of DigiLocker as the primary and most secure platform accessing the results. Students who appeared for the exams will be able to download verified documents without waiting for physical copies. The education board has also issued notifications guiding students — especially those without an APAAR ID on how to create and activate DigiLocker accounts to avoid last-minute hurdles. Along with this, students who appeared for the exams will also be able to access their results via official websites: results.cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in.

What are DigiLocker security PINs

DigiLocker security PINs are 6-digit special access codes given to students so they can log in to DigiLocker and securely download important academic documents mentioned above. For CBSE students, the board generates these PINs to make sure only the right student can open their DigiLocker account linked to their CBSE records.The PIN acts like a password during the first-time login. After entering it, students can set their own username and password for future access.

How to download DigiLocker security PINs

CBSE-affiliated schools can download the access codes by following the steps below:* Head to website digitallocker.gov.in* Select the option “Login as School”* Enter the CBSE LOC (List of Candidates) credentials* Next, click on “Download PIN File”* Here, select Class 10 or Class 12 accordingly* Download the file and securely share the access codes with students

How students can check CBSE result on DigiLocker using access PINs

Now that the results are declared, students can login to the DigiLocker using their mobile number and security PINs shared by their school. Separately, CBSE has also sent login details on students’ registered mobile numbers.After entering the details, students will be able to download* Marksheets* Migration Certificate* School Leaving Certificate
