CRPF Constable recruitment 2026: Check eligibility, selection process and other details here

The Central Reserve Police Force (Central Reserve Police Force) has released a recruitment notification for Constable posts, crpf.gov.in. . The online application process will begin on April 20, 2026, and continue until May 19, 2026. The drive aims to fill a total of 9,175 vacancies across multiple trades. The vacancies include Constable (Technical and Tradesman) posts across several categories such as: Motor Mechanic Vehicle, Cobbler, Carpenter, Tailor, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Gardener, Bugler, Painter, Cook, Barber-cum-Hair Dresser, Washerman/Woman, Water Carrier, Safai Karamchari, Mason, Plumber, Electrician and others.The recruitment process will be conducted through multiple rigorous stages designed to test both physical fitness and technical capability.The selection will include:

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Trade/Skill Test
  • Document Verification (DV)
  • Detailed Medical Examination (DME/RME)

Only candidates clearing PET and PST will qualify for the CBT stage. The physical tests will be conducted using RFID technology and digital measurement systems to ensure accuracy and transparency.

CRPF Constable recruitment 2026: Steps to apply

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to apply for the CRPF Constable recruitment 2026:

  • Go to rect.crpf.gov.in using any web browser.
  • On the homepage, click on the link related to “Constable Recruitment 2026”.
  • Register yourself by entering basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID and date of birth. A registration ID and password will be generated.
  • Log in using your credentials and complete the application form with personal details, educational qualifications, category, and trade preference.
  • Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required certificates in the prescribed format.
  • Pay the fee (if applicable) through online modes such as UPI, net banking, or debit/credit cards.
  • Review all details carefully and submit the application form.
  • After submission, download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

The application fee structure has been kept minimal for general applicants:₹100 for General, OBC and EWS male candidatesNo fee for SC, ST, female candidates of all categories, and ex-servicemenFees can be paid through multiple digital modes including:

  • Net Banking
  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay)
  • CSC Wallet
