Hariharan says, 'Asha Bhosle has always stood by me': Pens down heartfelt note for the late singer
Veteran singer Hariharan penned a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Asha Bhosle, calling her a “part of our everyday existence.” He shared cherished memories, highlighting her immense contribution to music and her personal support. Hariharan emphasized that Bhosle’s voice, a constant companion since childhood for many Indians, created an eternal bond. Her legacy as an inspiration will endure, he stated.

Ever since the news of Asha Bhosle‘s passing has spread, celebrities and netizens alike have been sharing their memories of the famed singer on their social media accounts. Veteran singer Hariharan, who is best known for ‘En Jeevan’, ‘Sankatmochan’, and ‘Dil Ka Koi Tukda’, also shared a throwback photo along with an emotional note, calling the acclaimed singer a ‘part of our everyday existence’.

Hariharan shares emotional note about Asha Bhosle

Singer and musician Hariharan took to his social media to share a series of black-and-white, as well as coloured, throwback photos of him and Asha Bhosle. He fondly recalled his memories of her and talked about how much of a formidable force she was for the world of music.He further shared, “When I heard about Asha Bhosle ji, I was out of words. It is a deeply personal loss… she is family to me. I have been fortunate to have her blessings since the early 80s, and I will always cherish those moments. She has always stood by me!”

Hariharan says that Asha Bhosle was a part of everyone’s everyday life

Further in the post, he shared that Bhosle had lived a wonderful life till the age of 92 and that she was a big part of everyone’s life. He added, “For all of us Indians, she wasn’t just a singer, she was a part of our everyday existence. Bachpan se, her voice has lived with us, grown with all of us. Almost everyone I know has grown up listening to her… and that bond is eternal.”Furthermore, he also included how she was an inspiration for countless people, himself included, and will continue to be one for years to come. He concluded his post by adding, “I will carry her music, her warmth, and her memories with me forever.”Hariharan’s and Asha Bhosle’s pairing was well known for the 1985 ghazal album titled ‘Aabshaar-e-Ghazal’. ‘Hariharan was the composer behind all of the 8 songs, while Bhosle lent her melodious voice for the lyrics.
