SHIVPURI: At least four people, including a newlywed bride and groom, were killed in a tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district after an out-of-control truck overturned onto a roadside auto.The incident occurred near a petrol pump on Tongra Road in the Sirsod police station area on Saturday afternoon around 12 pm. According to police, the truck, loaded with poultry feed, lost control and toppled onto an auto that was parked along the roadside.The victims, identified as the bride and groom, the groom’s mother and his sister-in-law, were seated inside the auto when the truck overturned onto them, crushing them to death on the spot.Police said the family was travelling to Rajgarh village after the wedding. The auto had briefly halted near the petrol pump when the accident took place. After nearly half an hour, the victims were extricated and taken to the district hospital, where doctors declared them dead.Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
