Makers of 'Chand Mera Dil' postpone title track release by a day after Asha Bhosle's passing: 'In honor of a legacy…'

In a heartfelt gesture following the passing of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle, Karan Johar‘s production house has postponed the release of the title track of its upcoming film ‘Chand Mera Dil’ by one day. The song, featuring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, was originally scheduled to drop on April 13, the same day as Asha Bhosle’s last rites in Mumbai.

‘Chand Mera Dil’ title track release postponed

The production house announced the postponement shortly after news of Asha Bhosle’s passing broke, citing the timing of her funeral as the key reason. Rather than proceed with a promotional release on a day of national mourning for one of India’s greatest musical voices, Dharma chose to step back as a mark of respect.
