Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle, whose voice defined the sound of Hindi cinema across more than seven decades and 12,000 recorded songs, passed away at the age of 92 at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Sunday. Her son Anand Bhosle confirmed the news outside the hospital, informing the public that those wishing to pay their last respects may visit her residence on Monday at 11 am, with the final rites scheduled for 4 pm at Shivaji Park. According to ANI, Bhosle breathed her last at Breach Candy Hospital. Her son Anand Bhosle told reporters outside the hospital, “She passed away today. Those who wish to pay their last respects can visit her residence tomorrow at 11 am.
