NTA opens challenge window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 answer key, fee set per question

JEE Main answer key 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a public notice announcing the release of provisional answer keys for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 2. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access the answer keys along with their recorded response sheets through the official portal.The agency conducted JEE Main 2026 Session 2 across multiple dates in April, covering Paper 1 for B.E. and B.Tech courses and Papers 2A and 2B for B.Arch. and B.Planning respectively. The examination took place at 567 centres in 306 cities across India and 14 cities outside the country.Provisional answer keys and response sheets releasedThe provisional answer keys for Paper 1 have been uploaded along with question papers and candidates’ recorded responses. These materials are available for candidates seeking to verify their answers and calculate probable scores.Candidates can raise objections to the provisional answer keys by submitting challenges online. The process requires payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The challenge window remains open from April 11 to April 13, up to 11:50 PM.Challenge process and payment detailsThe fee for raising objections can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. Challenges submitted without payment will not be considered. The agency has specified that no other mode of fee submission will be accepted.Once submitted, challenges will be reviewed by subject experts. If any objection is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The NTA has stated that no individual communication will be sent regarding the acceptance or rejection of specific challenges.
