Legendary singer Asha Bhosle who is 92 years old has been rushed to the hospital on Saturday night. Reporters on the field have confirmed that she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to cardiac arrest and pulmonary problems. Asha Bhosle, born on September 8, 1933, is one of the most celebrated and versatile voices in Indian music, with a career spanning over seven decades. Despite being Lata Mangeshkar‘s younger sister, Bhosle carved her own identity with an extraordinary range, effortlessly moving from classical-based melodies to cabaret numbers, pop, ghazals, and folk songs.Her filmography is vast, with thousands of songs across Hindi cinema and several regional languages.
