The character, which was coined through the imagination of Rowan Atkinson, is solely reliant on facial expression, physical humour, and timely accidents. His arsenal of childlike innocence and the possibility to make the most ordinary tasks and chores into a virus-like disaster made him a universally popular figure among some people of various age groups and speaking various languages. Mr.Bean, to this day, has been identified as the best example of physical comedy.
