'Punisher: One Last Kill’ trailer: Jon Bernthal goes on murderous rampage as Frank Castle
Get ready for a thrilling ride as Jon Bernthal reprises his role as the iconic Punisher in ‘Punisher: One Last Kill.’ The action-packed trailer reveals a battle-worn Frank Castle looking for purpose beyond his thirst for revenge.

The first trailer of Jon Bernthal starrer ‘Punisher: One Last Kill’ has been released. In the violent trailer, Bernthal is seen getting set on fire while seeing and hearing hallucinations of people talking to him. The film is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and co-written by him and Bernthal. Along with the trailer, Marvel also released the first poster for ‘Punisher: One Last Kill.’

Frank Castle will look for more than revenge

According to Marvel, Frank Castle will be dealing with more than just revenge this time around. The official synopsis says Frank “searches for meaning beyond revenge, when an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.”The last time we saw Bernthal’s Punisher, he was busting out of a cage in the detainment facility run by Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 1. Led by Charlie Cox, the show is currently in the midst of its second season, sans Bernthal, who is off on his own adventures in this new TV event.Bernthal first took on the role of Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, in Season 2 of the ‘Daredevil’ series. It introduced the ultra-violent vigilante who was both a friend and foe of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. Bernthal will also return as Frank Castle in this year’s theatrical release ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, in which he tangos with Tom Holland’s web-slinger.‘Punisher: One Last Kill’ will premiere on Disney+ on May 12, one week after the ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 2 finale.
