Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor teamed up in 2015 for the film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘. Apart from the decent story line and performances, Himesh Reshammiya‘s songs were the highlight. Now, the latest reports indicate that Sooraj Barjatya is working with Himesh Reshammiya once more for his new family entertainer starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari. Himesh has already delivered seven songs for the project, continuing the successful partnership they had on ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.The director wanted each track to be simple, emotional, and easy for everyone to connect with, not just city audiences but also people in smaller towns and villages.

Why was Himesh Reshammiya chosen?

As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Sooraj Barjatya felt Himesh was the right fit for the kind of music he had in mind. Both had enjoyed working together before, and Sooraj knew Himesh could create tunes that reach far beyond metros. Himesh was happy to come on board and has given exactly what the director asked for: songs that feel warm and relatable.The songs are being made to work across different sections of the audience. Sooraj wanted them to be soulful and mass-appealing so they could travel to rural areas as well. Himesh, known for making music that connects with a wide range of listeners, has delivered tracks that match this brief reportedly.

The film’s shooting started on November 1, 2025, and is expected to finish in about a month. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari are leading the cast in what is being described as a heartfelt family story.
