Deepika Padukone recently found herself at the centre of conversations on social media after she finally broke silence on Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. Ever since the film has released, the internet just cannot stop gushing about the Aditya Dhar directorial and Ranveer’s performance in the film. Many have also called it his ‘career-best’ and how he has now come into a different league of stardom after the film’s release. Deepika commented on a viral reel questioning her silence and absence from the film’s screening. Now after Deepika reacted to this video, actress Suzanne Bernert questioning her stance publicly. She took to social media to call out Deepika’s reaction, expressing confusion over why the actress had not openly praised her husband’s success. In her post, she wrote, “Dear Deepika, This isn’t a flex! We are still waiting for you to openly praise your husband. I don’t understand why you are not doing it. #Dhurandhar2‌TheRevenge.”For those not in the know, Deepika responded to had claimed, “Deepika Padukone just gave the ‘silent treatment’ to a Rs 500 crore budget. While Dhurandhar 2 shatters global records, Deepika skipped the premiere to hit a sitar concert with her in-laws instead. No posts, no praise, just silence. Is she making a statement against the director or just dodging the internet’s favorite drama?”Deepika responded to the video and said, “The latter my friend… P.S. (hand over mouth emoji).”Even as the debate continues on the internet, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ remains a box-office juggernaut, with Ranveer earning widespread acclaim for his performance. It has crossed Rs 1300 crore at the worldwide box office and Rs 1000 crore in India.
