The Secondary Education Board of Assam follows a structured grading system for Class 10. Students scoring below 30 marks are declared unsuccessful. The grading scale ranges from A1, the highest, to F, the lowest:

  • 91-100 marks: A1
  • 81-90 marks: A2
  • 71-80 marks: B1
  • 61-70 marks: B2
  • 51-60 marks: C1
  • 41-50 marks: C2
  • 30-40 marks: D
  • Less than 30 marks: F (fail)
