‘Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil’ saw a small drop at the box office on Day 8. The Jiiva starrer collected Rs 66 lakhs India net on Thursday. Till the end of Day 7 the film had earned around Rs 18.80 crore. The total collection now stands at Rs 19.46 crore India net. These are early estimates provided by the Sacnilk website.The film had a strong first week. On Day 6 it collected Rs 1.25 crore. The very next day it earned Rs 1.05 crore. Day 8 saw a bigger fall but this kind of drop is normal after the first week. Even with this slowdown the film is holding well and inching closer to the Rs 20 crore mark.
Occupancy stays low but stable
‘TTT’ recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 14.14 percent on the last day. Morning shows were slow with 9.58 percent occupancy. Afternoon shows improved and stood at 15.80 percent. Evening shows dipped slightly to 13.54 percent. Night shows did the best among all slots with 17.64 percent occupancy.‘Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil’ is directed by Nithish Sahadev.
