A video of a man rushing to rescue a calf caught in a hailstorm has been spread extensively across the internet with many observers calling it a simple and kind-hearted act.The video which was first posted on Instagram by one of the users known as Usman has gone viral on various platforms. It describes a sharp encounter in the hailstorm, in which a calf has been left outside, and is blundering when ice pellets continue to fall.In a few seconds, a man is observed running to the animal.He does not wait till the storm has stopped or seek assistance. He goes directly to the calf, picks it, and takes it out of the open field. The whole scene unfolds very fast, and there is no apparent indecisiveness.There is no narration, confirmed facts about the man and the location in the video. However, the video has become viral and the people have become very sensitive to what they have seen.Most of the viewers termed it as humanity, and some claimed that it served as a reminder on how even minor acts can shine through the harsh circumstances. Others also mentioned the danger of it, how it is not something that most people would risk going out in a hailstorm.The thing that appears to linger in the minds of the audience is not only what the man did, but how fast he did it.No time to consider repercussions. No doubt that can be observed. Just a decision made in the middle of a harsh situation.It is the kind of moment that usually passes unnoticed. Somebody intervenes, assists, and passes by. People do not record it most of the time. This time somebody did.And that has made people think of something easy, that kindness is not in most cases calculated. It occurs in minor, direct decisions, when an individual decides to take action rather than to retreat.There is no background or follow-up provided in the video.
