Japanese tourist molested near Jaipur's Jaigarh Fort, FIR lodged but no arrests yet

JAIPUR: Five youths have been accused of sexually harassing a Japanese tourist in Amber area of Jaipur after stopping her on a secluded stretch near Jaigarh Fort.The youths pushed the woman, held her hands and attempted to kiss her, DCP (North) Karan Sharma said Monday, citing the woman’s complaint that has led to an FIR. No arrests have been made so far.Police said the incident occurred Sunday when the tourist went to visit Jaigarh Fort and its surrounding hills. She raised alarm after being molested and ran towards a security guard stationed nearby. Noticing the guard approaching, the youths fled. The guard informed the cops.
