'Will pay a big price': Trump's warning for 'group' that kept guns US sent to Iran protesters

US president Donald Trump on Monday once again slammed the Iranian regime as he mentioned the ’48-hour deadline to open Strait of Hormuz’ and the guns US sent to protestors earlier this year but never reached them.Talking about the weapons he said, “We sent to some guns. They were supposed to go to the people so they could fight back against these thugs. The people we sent them to kept them,” said the US President while talking to reporters as he participated 2026 White House Easter Egg Roll with wife Melania.Further giving a warning, he added, “I am upset with a certain group of people and they will pay a big price.”Trump had mentioned about sending guns on Sunday as well during an interview with Fox News, during which he said that the weapons were sent to Iranian ethnic group Kurds. “We sent guns to the protesters, a lot of them. We sent to the Kurds” said the US president, adding, “And I think the Kurds kept them”Meanwhile in Monday’s statement, Trump stated that Tuesday’s deadline is final. Further talking about a possible ceasefire, Trump said that Iran “made a proposal, and it’s a significant proposal. It’s a significant step. It’s not good enough.” “It could end very quickly, ‌the war, if they do what they have to do. They have to do certain things. They know that, they’ve been negotiating I think in good faith,” he further said.Additionally asked on how targeting bridges wouldn’t be a war crime, Trime defended saying, “Because they killed 45,000 in the last month. They kill protesters. They are animals.”
