Chaos on road! Speeding car, wrong-side entry, Fortuner hit twice in viral video

A road incident captured on a dash camera is going viral on social media. In the video, it shows how a chain of poor driving decisions can quickly turn into a dangerous situation. The viral clip captures a fast-moving car, likely to be a Hyundai Creta or Hyundai Venue, approaching a diversion without slowing down or reading the traffic flow ahead. At the same time, a Maruti Ertiga is seen entering from the wrong side, creating confusion at a point where caution is usually required. In the middle of this, a Toyota Fortuner appears to cross the junction, seemingly heading towards a petrol pump. With multiple vehicles out of sync and little room to react, the speeding car crashes into the Fortuner. What follows makes the situation even more shocking. Instead of stopping after the initial impact, the driver of the speeding car seems to reposition and hits the Fortuner again. The second collision turned an already serious incident into something far more alarming.

How to avoid such incidents?

The video shows how a combination of overspeeding and wrong-side driving can create a perfect storm. High speed reduces reaction time, especially near diversions where traffic patterns change quickly. Meanwhile, vehicles entering from the wrong direction disrupt the expected flow, leaving other drivers with almost no time to respond.

Such incidents can be avoided with simple discipline. Slowing down near diversions, staying in the correct lane, and avoiding wrong-side driving are basic but essential rules. Drivers should also remain calm after a crash and avoid impulsive actions. While better enforcement and road design can help, safer roads ultimately depend on responsible behaviour behind the wheel.
