Her father Ravi, was born in Kurinjipadi near Vadalur, a place connected with the teachings of Vallalar, who emphasised compassion and kindness. Mirnalini said these values influenced her deeply while growing up. She also mentioned that both her parents, who are from Puducherry, continue to guide and encourage her to help others whenever possible.
