This follows the success of her 2020 book, ‘Open Book,’ which candidly detailed her experiences, including her past marriage to Nick Lachey. Simpson, who rose to fame in 1999, is eager to connect with her audience through her writing.

While talking to Elle in a recent interview, the famed ‘The Love Guru’ actress revealed that she is “always writing”, further adding that she is “about to start another one”, referring to her memoir. Simpson further added that she is open to telling her story to the world in whatever way she can. “It’s the only way that I can confront and be honest with myself, if I want to live my life right and understand it. I journal my way through a lot of thoughts and stuff. It’s a relationship that I have with myself that I don’t mind sharing with the world,” she quipped.

The two were together from 2002 to 2006.At the time, Nick Lachey had admitted that he and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, had opted against reading Simpson’s book. While talking to Us Weekly, he had also admitted that the famed actress had not reached out to him before publishing her memoir. At the time, he had stated, “I have not read a single word.”
