GSPESC recruitment 2026: The Gujarat State Primary Education Selection Committee has issued a recruitment advertisement for Vidya Sahayak posts in primary schools for Standards 1 to 5 in Gujarati medium. The drive seeks to fill approximately 11,000 vacancies in government schools functioning under District Education Committees and Town Education Committees across the state.Online applications have been invited in the prescribed application form from the qualified candidates in accordance with the educational qualifications specified in the Education Department resolution issued on the 17th of March, 2023, along with the amendments that have been introduced subsequently. The total number of vacancies has been indicated following approval from the Education Department through a letter dated March 31, 2026. Detailed district-wise and school-wise vacancies will be published later after completion of the district transfer process for primary teachers.Out of the total posts, 4 per cent are reserved for differently-abled candidates as per General Administration Department norms. These positions will be treated as second-occasion vacancies if not filled during the initial special recruitment campaign.
